First day:

We advice you to start with the two attractions that define the better the city: the visit of the Sagrada Familia and of the Park Guëll. You definitely can´t miss it:

-          The entradas para la Sagrada Familia: it is a cathedral which construction started in 1882. It is the emblem of Barcelona, and even of Spain, and one of the most famous cathedrals around the world. And it is totally worth to go inside to visit the towers: from there you will have a wonderful view of the city. Nevertheless, you must know that there are a lot of people visiting the Sagrada Familia every day so we advice you to buy your tickets in advance in order to avoid the queue. A ticket to visit the cathedral costs 17€. Metro station: Sagrada Familia (L2 and L5).

-          The Park Guëll: to continue your first day in Barcelona, we propose you to go to the Park Guëll. You can walk through the park and seize the opportunity to admire the all city of Barcelona from a viewpoint. The park also counts with a very pleasant space to sit down, listen to guitarists and make your caricature. Metro station Lesseps (L3).

Finally, you can go to the beach or to the Olympic city (Ciudad Olímpica).

One of the main points of interest in Barcelona is Montjuïc. You can go there with the cable car and enjoy a day in this mountain. First, you can walk to the Castle and then go down to the Plaza España. During your route, you can visit interesting places such as the Olympic Stadium, the Pueblo Español, the Fundación Miró… And, you must end your route with the Magic Fountain spectacle (you must check out the hours and days of this spectacle on the webpage of the Barcelona city council).
