Restaurants in Barcelona: Desig Barcelona team members have visited some restaurants recently, so we like to give you a couple of suggestions if you’d like to go to a restaurant this weekend, or anytime in the near future:

  • Restaurant Can Recasens: located at Rambla del Poblenou 102. Go there if you look for Catalonian “tapas” with a great quality.  We had tried different kinds of traditional cold meat and cheese varieties, as well as toasts and they’re trully delicious. An important tip to remember: Make reservations! Phone number: + 34 933 008 123
  • Restaurant Brown 33: A very beautiful restaurant located at Paseo de Gracia 33 (corner with Consell de Cent), with a breve, but tasteful menu of appetizers, salads, pizzas, pasta, risottos and some options for meats and fish. Affordable prices and great service.
  • Restaurant El Mussol: If you want a sure bet for good catalonian food in Barcelona, go to El Mussol. Quality, fresh products and great sized portions. There are 4 Mussol restaurants in Barcelona:  Mussol Casp (Casp 119), Mussol Diagonal (Diagonal 488), Mussol Aragó (Aragó 261) and Mussol Pedralbes (Diagonal 611-613). It is always a good idea to make reservations in advance.

Also, if you like modernism, Gaudí and/or profess catalotic religion, go to Sagrada Familia church on saturday January 15th, from 9:00 am to 2:00pm, as the Facade of the Birth, that is usually closed, it is going be opened for free, to allow people to enjoy of its recently finished -and spectacular-  central nave.
