Les Corts is one of the districts of Barcelona that houses one of the most commercially developed areas of the city. This big and famous department store, El Corte Inglés, is a Barcelona classic and is famous for being the second biggest department store in the city (after the one in Plaza Catalunya) as well as for servicing the wealthiest inhabitants of Barcelona. Centro Comercial L’Illa Diagonal. This shopping center has more than 170 shops & restaurants. Its architecture is a Barcelona icon and, a few people know, is inspired in New York City’s Rockefeller Center, while representing a lying down skyscraper.
