How to reconcile our desire to eat sushi with special tastes of our friends and family? Well, we found a restaurant in Barcelona which has given us the solution: Dango Barcelona.

Barcelona Dango is a Japanese restaurant that offers a menu ranging from fusion sushi to the most typical Mediterranean cuisine, so it is a very flexible alternative for those couples or groups who can not decide where to go for dinner. The restaurant is very cozy and is located in one of the most central and accessible areas of Barcelona, on Avenida Diagonal, almost on the corner of Calle Enric Granados, in a modernist facade building with an interesting history, if you ask the staff about it, they will surely tell you about it.

Upon entering the home you will find a small bar where you can order a variety of cocktails, and they have a fairly extensive menu of drinks, both classic international  and Japanese specialties. On the underground floor you will find a lounge-type room, which at night is the ideal place to have a drink after dinner and before going out. But what impressed us most is that on match days, it’s a perfect place to watch football in Barcelona, as they have a large screen and the possibility to dine sushi while enjoying the game.

The menu is extensive, there are actually two of them: Japanese and Mediterranean. What will you find in them? Absolutely Everything! The menu includes everything from classic Japanese miso soup to Wok plates, not forgetting the makis that we all love. You can also choose from the assorted sushi combos. On the Mediterranean menu, you will find all sorts of food from croquettes and ham to steaks and cod. What about the prices? Super affordable, they even have a daily menu at noon for 15 € (starter and two plates, drink and dessert). The 15 € menu can also be enjoyed during dinner, on the nights of Tuesday and Wednesday, or you may choose one of their tasting menus, from which you can sample a little of everything.

In short, Dango is a highly recommended place to eat in Barcelona for its varied and versatile menu and its very good value for money. For all we know, it is possible to reserve for large groups and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to call them as they will surely assist you accordingly.
