Another weekend in Barcelona has arrived, and this one is very special, beacause it is a long weekend (know as Inmaculada Long Weekend or Constitution Long Weekend). For those who spend this long weekend in Barcelona, there are going to be many different activities in Barcelona, in the frame of december holidays, as well as different options to go out in Barcelona. The traditional christmas street markets in Barcelona begins on December 3rd, with Santa Llucia street market and Sagrada Familia street market. In these two street markets you will find christmas products, such as the singular “Cagatió”, cribs, christmas figures, christmas trees, handicrafts and many other things.

Santa Llucia street market 2010 is gonna be located at Plaza de la Catedral (Cathedral Square) and crossing Via Laietana to Francesc Cambó. It will have 271 stands, opened from december 03 to 23. This saturday december 4th, Santa llucia Street Market will have a gigant Cagatió at Plaza de la Catedral, so, if you have kids, do not miss it!!!

Sagrada Familia street market 2010 will have 118 stands, and will be located at Plaza de la Sagrada Familia (Sagrada Familia Square), and will be opened on december 03 to 23, from 10 am to 9 pm.

This weekend you can also go to see the traditional crib at Barcelona Plaza Sant Jaume, that will be exposed starting at december 2nd. This year Barcelona will have more christmas lights than the year before and will be lit on thrusday december 2nd.

If you are interested in other activities not related with december holidays, this saturda december 4th will begin the Auto Retro Barcelona 2010 Exhibition until wednesday 8th,  at Fira de Barcelona, focused on collection cars anda motorcycles.

Also, as it is the first weekend of december, you can choose to go to a museum, as many of them have free entrance on the first sunday of the month.
