With the beginning of the summer, the commercial activity slows down so that the calendar of the IFEMA Madrid in July 2012 only includes a couple of events. Nevertheless, the absence of fairs in Madrid in July 2012 is not a sufficient reason to think that a trip to the Spanish capital will be boring. Actually, it is quite the contrary because the lack of commercial fairs will be offset by sports events and a festival of urban trends festival that should be quite entertaining.

For those who want to enjoy their holidays to discover new business opportunities, one of the events in Madrid in July 2012 that you can´t miss is the events sector fairs named DAYS. It is a fair in which you can get in touch with people specialized in the organization of events. It will be the sixth edition of the fair and the 2012 edition of DAYS will take place on the 4th and 5th of July. It will be divided into different subsectors: audio-visual, decoration, animation, business travel, outdoor… The entrance to the event is free; you just need to register on this link.

The month of July will be the perfect occasion to watch a friendly game between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic in support of the Real Madrid and Rafa Nadal foundations. The match will take place in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium on the next 14th of July. Of course the main objective of this game is to raise funds for various social projects, but given the fact that the match takes place in the Santiago Bernabéu, it is also hoped that this match will permit to beat the record of audience to a tennis match (they expect to sell 80,000 tickets). On date, we still don´t know in which kind of surfaces they will play the game or the cost of a ticket. This information will surely be displayed very soon, so if you want to attend the game, we advice you to rent an accommodation in Madrid.

Another event that will take place in July is the XII international tournament Olympic Wrestling Grand Prix of Spain. The tournament will take place on the 7th (qualifying competition) and the 8th (finals) of July in the sport halls at the following address:  Obispo Trejo Street.
