For football lovers, the Castellena Avenue of Madrid has only one meaning: Santiago Bernabeu of Madrid. Indeed, the emblematic stadium of the Real Madrid team is situated on La Castellana Avenue, in the very centre of the city. It has been built in 1947 and remodeled in 1982 for the FIFA World Cup. The stadium is open every day of the year (expect on the 25th of December and the 1st of January) and you can use the panoramic lifts to admire the pitch and the installations from a new point of view, you can visit the trophies exhibition, enter the changing rooms, seat on the benches… The entrance for the tour costs between 8€ and 11€.

But the Santiago Bernabeu stadium on La Castellana Avenue is not the only point of interest. So you should look for an accommodation in Madrid near this 6 kilometers avenue that offers a lot to see: business centres, museums, hotels and restaurants… La Castellana Avenue goes from the Colón Square to the Plaza Castilla of Madrid. On this avenue, there is, for instance, the Corte Inglés de La Castellana, one of the biggest shopping mall with 4 floors and brands.

On the north of the avenue, there is the Plaza de Azca of Madrid which is the business centre of the city. The offices of the main Spanish companies are established in this big building which is also an architectural attraction. A walk to this area allows you to admire some of the biggest building of the city: the BBVA headquarter, the Picasso Tower, the Europa Tour, the Windsor edifice and the Trieste edifice.
