Created on 1994 by Albert Arnaut, La Fábrica is a private company dedicated to the design, develop and promotion of the cultural projetc in all artistic disciplines.between its functions, La Fábrica gathers together innovative ideas or iniciatives with possible sponsors, as well as give money to the ones that have more potential.

Beside its administrative work, La Fabrica has 2 locations in Madrid that are worth to if you love art and wanto to come to spend some days in the capital of Spain, probably staying in holiday apartments in Madrid. La Fabrica Gallery and La Fabrica Library  are the 2 places you can visit that belong to La Fabrica. Both of them are located in the “Triangle of Arts”, at Barrio de las Letras.

La Fábrica Galería in Madrid (they have another one in Barcelona) is distinguished from other art galleries in Madrid for focusing in the promotion and diffussion of the contemporary art, especially in all manifestations related to new media, photography and videos. La Fábrica Gallery was opened on 2003; however it had holded some of the most remarkable photography exhibitions in Madrid between  1999 to 2002, with works of the the top 50 photographers in Spain in the XX century.

Nowadays La Fábrica Gallery represents 14 differents artists (Marina Abramovic, Richard Billingham, Chen Chieh-jen, Gregory Crewdson, Rineke Dijkstra, Paul Graham, Kimsooja, Annika Larsson, Juan López, Antoni Muntadas, Shirin Neshat, Rosângela Rennó, Marijke Warmerdam and Francesca Woodman), and also promotes the talent of young artists as well as more popular photographers, for participating in some of the more important photography exhibitions all over the world; for instance,  in China (CIGE), USA (PULSE), France (PARIS PHOTO); and of course, in the main photography events in Spain (ARCO, MADRID FOTO or LOOP).
