eventos barcelona GSMA Mobile World Congress Events Barcelona In a little over a month, Barcelona will host one of the most important international events in the field of technology and mobile communication: the GSMA Mobile World Congress. As I had mentioned in a previous post, this year’s MWC 2013 will take place from 25 to 28 February at the Fira Gran Via facilities.

Mobile technology has revolutionized almost all human activities. From the purely productive and economical to the most intimate and social. Hence the importance of the events in Barcelona whose international impact is still unexpected.

Technology, apps, networking, social media, gadgets and a myriad of new words that are incorporated into our everyday universe will be the talk of the directors of the largest companies in the sector. More than 186 speakers from around the world will share their unique vision of the mobile universe, its growth projections, developments and even dreams.

The news program is divided into three main groups: Featured Programs (forums on specific topics sponsored by a brand), Seminars, and the Congress core program, consisting of a series of lectures given by the directors and founders of major companies sector.

Some of the CEOS will offer lectures are: Hans Vestberg (Ericsson), Drew Houston (Dropbox), Gary Kovacs (Mozilla), Stephen Elop (Nokia) and Randall Stephenson (AT & T). We recommend reviewing the full agenda of the event, since for most of the conference is pre-registration required.

To attend the GSMA Mobile World Congress there are four different passes you can check the prices here. It is important to note that access to the lectures are not available to those who purchase a visitor’s pass, however, may follow through screens and monitors placed in strategic locations of the fairgrounds.
