Have you already booked your accommodation for the Primavera Sound? If you haven´t, you must think about it because the great artists who have confirmed that they will perform at the Primavera Sound Festival will, without a doubt, attract a lot of visitors in Barcelona.

Picture yourself… almost an entire week of concerts in Barcelona with some of the greatest artists. Many of them will take advantage of this amazing show to present their newest songs. Besides, this twelfth edition of Primavera Sound festival has been widened. Indeed, the organizers propose two additional days of events in Barcelona (providing the audience with free concerts).

By now, 150 artists have already confirmed their participation to the festival. Among them, you will be able to listen to famous bands but also to discover emerging bands which will be looking for winning over the audience. Currently, the Primavera Sound Barcelona festival is one of the greatest events if you want to discover new artists.

The Primavera Sound 2012 will start on Tuesday, the 29^th of May, with a free concert  before the festival´s opening ceremony at the Sala Apolo, with the participation of  Hooray for Earth, Elephant, Dutch Uncles and The go! Team.

On Wednesday, the 30^th of May, it is due that Black Lips, No More Lies, Jeremy Jay, Beach Fossils, Chair Lift, Saint Etienne, Tennis and The Wedding Present plays Seamonsters will participate in the Primavera sound festival.

The official beginning of the Primavera 2012 in Barcelona will take place on Thursday, the 31^st of May. On this day, more than 40 artists, such as Wilco, Danny Brown, The XX, Mazzy Star, Beirut and Mudhoney will perform on the Parc del Fórum´s stage.

To the line-up of the Primavera sound, we can add figures as The Cure, Afrocubism, Death in Vegas, Cuchillo, Chávez, Christina Rosenvinge, Matías Aguayo and The drums. They will perform on Friday, the 1^st of June.

On Saturday, the 2^nd of May, Björk, Sandro Perri, Off!, Goldflesh, Dominique A, Veronica Falls, Jeff Mangum, Animic, Lisabö, The weeknd and, of course, the famous band Yo la Tengo will perform.

The event will come to an end on Sunday, the 3^rd of June with a free concert at the Arc del Triomf where Joe Crepúsculo, Yann Tiersen, Lorena Álvarez y su Banda Municipal, Richard Hawley y Nacho Vegas will close with a high note the Primavera Sound Festival 2012.
