  • A small glance into the world: toy manufacturing. This fun workshop for all the family will be held from 23 to 31 March in Caixaforum (Av Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, 6-8). Admission is free and the workshop schedule is from 10:00 to 20:00 hrs (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 22:00 hrs. Additionally there will be a solidary film series during Easter.
  • Easter in Cosmocaixa (Carrer d’Isaac Newton, 26). An interesting exhibition consisting in challenges and energy-related puzzles that must be solved with the participation of children and adults. The schedule is 11: to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:00 hrs. Will run from March 23 to April 1. Entrance fee € 4.

Finally, Easter in Barcelona would not be the same without taking time to taste the delicious lent cuisine. Some of the dishes that aren’t to be missed is vigil stew (made with cod and spinach) and various stews with sardines and cod, in addition to the traditional “torrijas”. And of course, do not forget the Monas de Pascua, delicious cakes made with flour and eggs to mark the end of Lent. By the way, do not forget that in Barcelona Easter Monday is also considered a holiday, so organize your activities because many shops will be closed that day.
