A great plan for starting a Sunday or a Holiday is having a brunh in Madrid. This anglo combination of a late breakfast and an early lunch is gaining popularity in the big cities of Spain and that’s the reason why there are more restaurant in Barcelona that are offering brunchs nowadays.

Some fo our favourites -ordered from the cheapeast to the most expensive- options are:

Le Petit Bistrot:

A simple brunch with an amazing quality/price relation. The brunch has great pastry choices, natural juices, salmon, eggs, salads, coffee, tea and more. It’s mandatory to reserve in advance (phone number: +34 91 429 62 65). Average price: Around 20 euros.

  • Le Petit Bistrot is located at Plaza de Matute, 5 (closest metro station: Anton Martín L1).

Nina Madrid:

Located at the alternative area of Malasaña, you’ll have the chance to enjoy delicious croissants, natural juices, muffins, pancakes, bagels with salmon, benedict eggs and more, in a newyorker atmosphere. Brucnh price around 25 euros.

  • Nina restaurant is located at Street Manuela Malasaña Nº 10 (closest metro station: Bilbao L1 and L4)

Restaurant El Ene:

An original option, because it’s a brunch in a cool japanese atmosphere, where you can enjoy of good Djs while you take a brunch with toasts of bread with tomato and jam, cheeses, and hot dishes, while resting in a tatami. Brunch price: around 25 euros.

  • El Ene is located at Street Nuncio 19 (closest metro stations: La Latina L5 and Tirso de Molina L1)

Glass Bar:

At Hotel Urban, this place has a privilege location, very near the Paseo del Prado and Puerta del Sol. The brunch includes a buffet of cold dishes (sweet and salty) and a hot dish, coffee, tea and natural juices. If you pay a bit more, you can get champagne and oysters in your meal. Brunch price: Around 40 euros.

  • Glass Bar is located at  Hotel Urban. Street: Carrera de San Jeronimo 34 (closest metro station: Sevilla, L2)


Hispano Bar Buffet:

This is one of the first restaurants in Madrid that offered brunch. Its offers consists in a buffet with hot starters, a selection of salads, a cold dish of meat and a hot dish of fisht, plus desserts. Brunch price: Aprox 50 euros.

  • Hispano Bar is located at Paseo de la Castellana 78 (closest metro station: Gregorio Marañon, L10).
