The story of the Altético Madrid stadium stars in 1966, at the time it was inaugurated. The importance of its construction is related to the fact that it was the first stadium in Europe with seats for everyone. The name of the stadium changed to Calderon stadium in 1971, after the former president of the club Vicente Calderón. Currently, they think about building a new stadium for the Altético Madrid destroying the actual one and constructing a new one on place. So, it is a good idea to rent an accommodation for days in Madrid, to look for tickets for the Altético Madrid and to visit the emblematic stadium before it disappears.
