Tibidabo is the highest point in Barcelona, located 512 meters above sea level and a clear day offers a wonderful view over the city of Barcelona and the mountains of Montserrat.

Tibidabo Magic Mountain:

The Magic Mountain of Tibidabo is a complex that includes several attractions, such as:

Tibidabo Amusement Park (Parque de Atracciones Tibidabo): This is the oldest amusement park in Spain, opened in the late XIX century. Tibidabo Park most popular attractions are: the airplane, and a cinema 4D.

Collserola Tower (Torre de Collserola): This is a modern telecommunications antenna, with an outstanding viewpoint. It was designed by architect Norman Foster and it is one of the emblematic monuments of the city of Barcelona, built for Barcelona 1992 Olympic Games

Expiatory church of the Sacred Heart (Templo Expiatorio del Sagrado Corazón): The church, located at the top of Tibidabo, was built between 1902 and 1961. As highlights of this temple, note its architecture blending art nouveau with Neo Gothic styles, and the huge statue of Sacred Heart of Jesus which crowns the building, made in bronze.

Fabra Observatory (Observatorio Fabra): Located over 400 meters above sea level, it is a center for the study of meteorology, astronomy and seismology

Restaurants and bars at Tibidado:

Two of the places with the best views over the city, are located on Tibidabo in Barcelona.

Mirabé Tibidabo (Calle Manuel Arnús, 2)  this terrace can held corporate or private events, but is also open to the public from Tuesday through Saturday from 19:00 pm, and on Sundays at 17:00 am

Mirablau Tibidabo: This is a special place that offers the possibility to dinner, go for a cocktail, tapas, or dancing at a disco. It is open every day from 11 am.

How to get to Tibidabo:

If you plan to visit the Tibidabo Amusement Park in public transport, these are the recommended options:

Tibibus: a bus system that goes from the Plaza de Cataluña (corner of Rambla Catalunya) to the Tibidabo Park. Take Tibibus T2.

Take the train FGC in Plaza Catalunya or in Provença stations, line L7, to Avenida Tibidabo, then take the Tramvia Blau to reach the cable car and finally take the cable car to the park entrance.
