Date changes
It will be possible to change ONCE the dates of the booking with at least 20 days in advance and as long as the apartment is available.
If you're willing to ADD nights to your booking and if the availability allows it, a percentage of the extra nights must be paid in order to confirm the change.
If you're willing to REDUCE nights to your booking, you must do it at least 20 days in advance and there will be a penalization of 25% of the total price of the nights reduced. Changes within a period of less than 20 days will not be accepted, and you will have to pay the total price of the booked days.

Apartment changes
Under unforeseen circumstances (unscheduled building works, water damage,…) desigbarcelona reserves the right to transfer the client to an apartment of similar characteristics. In case the client doesn't agree with the new proposed apartment, the booking may be cancelled and the pre-payment would be completely refunded. desigbarcelona will not be liable for further claims by the client if this cancellation occurs.
Apartment changes due to the clients' expressed wish are bound to availability and must be done with at least 30 days in advance and will have a charge of 50% of the previously paid amount.

NUmber of persons changes
If after booking an apartment you need to INCREASE the number of persons staying, this will be possible only if the maximum number of persons allows it. A new price will be calculated and you would have to pay a percentage of the price difference to confirm the change.
If, on the contrary, you need to DECREASE the number of persons staying in the aparment, the total price will remain the same.

In case of cancellation no refund will be made on the pre-payment. However, you will be able to change ONCE the dates of your rental period subject to availability on the same apartment, and 20 days in advance.

Two days before your arrival you will need to inform the contact person to let her/him know your arrival time.

• Check in time is 14:00 until 22:00. Having to check later than 22:00 has an additional cost of €30 and you will need to coordinate it with the contact person.
• Check out time is 11:00. Check outs before 7:30 have an additonal cost of €30.
• Some apartments may have different check-in rules/times. Also, for Sitges apartments, different surcharges may apply if checking in late.

At your arrival the apartment will be clean. There is a mandatory cleaning fee that must be paid along with the total amount, and the price is 50€ for most of the apartments, though it may be different in some cases.

When have arrived at Barcelona you must call the contact person at least 30 minutes before your arrival at the apartment (you will find the telephone number in the confirmation e-mail) to confirm the time you will b there, so that the contact person knows you are on time. Upon your arrival the contract and the keys will be given to you. You will have to pay “IN CASH” the rest of the BALANCE of the reservation as well as the refundable deposit.
We will hand you a short term rental signed by the owner or a representative.

The deposit, which may be between 150 and 400 € serves to face the damages that could be done in the apartment and are the guest’s responsibility. It will be refunded in its totality if the apartment is in the same conditions. Refundable deposits for monthly rentals may be over 500 €

During the whole stay, if you have any question or problem, you may contact our staff. The check-out day and time at must be arranged during the check-in. Your contact person will check out the apartment, and after confirming everything is just as it was on your check in, will refund your whole deposit. You will then have to return the keys. There is a charge of 25€ for losing the keys.

The client is obliged to leave the apartment in good conditions.

• If the apartment has a sofa bed, please make good use of it. If it is used for sleeping please make sure it is fully covered with the bed sheets.
• In case of a stain it will be charged with 50€.
• The front door of the building has to be closed every time you leave the apartment.
• The rubbish has to be taken away every day.
• Always remember to take the keys with you. If you need to ring the intercom, please make sure it is the right button so you won't disturb the neighbours.
• Please listen to music and TV at a reasonable volume, so you won't disturb the neighbours.
• Always remember to turn off all electrical devices and the air conditioning every time you leave the apartment.
• Pets are not allowed, except on written authorisation of desigbarcelona

It is not allowed to exceed the arranged number of persons without prior permission. In case of agreement the price is subject to change. The number of persons using the apartment may not exceed the number of persons allocated for each apartment.

Guests and their accompanies declare explicitly to use the apartment at their own risk and relieve desigbarcelona of all deduced claims of compensation.
The guests are liable for all damages and impairments on the rented apartment or goods, as far as they exceed signs of wear and tear on normal usage.
There is no liability for valuables brought by the guests. Any of the infringements on the above mentioned terms allows the right to desigbarcelona to require the immediate departure of the client from the apartment. The client shall have no right to claim a compensation whatsoever.

desigbarcelona intermmediates apartment bookings between owners and guests. As an agency, we are only liable about our service and will always do our best to satisfy our clients.
All the apartments' information and descriptions have been provided by the owners. Desigbarcelona will do the upmost to be accurate about details and features, but will not be responsible for any mistake or omission that may occur.
desigbarcelona reserves the right to approve or cancel any reservation. Whenever desigbarcelona would cancel a booking, the client won't have the right to demand any kind of compensation. Nevertheless, the previously paid money will be refunded by the same method it was paid.

Access to these data is limited to those employees and providers who need to know these data in order to guarantee the before mentioned services. In all cases, you have the right to access, object to, correct and erase the data as foreseen in the Law mentioned before.
