Barcelona, famous for its interesting architecture, it is the capital of the autonomous community of Catalunya. Surrounded by the Mediterranean, it is a very cosmopolitan city, headquarters of the last artistic tendencies, culturally restless and avant-garde, open and hospitable, which offers an unbeatable offer both cultural and leisure.

In the old town, it is situated the Gothic Square (where we find the main part of the Roman remains), such as the “El Museo de Història de Barcelona” (the history museum of Barcelona) the Cathedral, the City council and Palau of Generalitat.

In Barcelona, we will be able to discover the brilliant works of the architect Gaudí, based on curved lines, colours, imaginary forms that modified the city at the beginning of century, standing out the park Guell, the House Batlló and the House Milá, as well as the majestic “Sagrada Familia”, still without finishing.

The Olympic area and their marine walk are samples of the dynamism of the municipality. It possesses museums like Picasso and the National Museum of Art of Catalonia.

The typical walk along Las Ramblas –beginning from Catalonia Square- will bring us near the traditional Boqueria Market, the Columbus statue and will finish in the Port Vell (one of the most important harbours of the Mediterranean).
